A Talent For Mischief began as a San Francisco all acoustic sit - down duo and trio. When founding member Kevin Coffey decided it was time to stand up and ROCK he ditched the acoustic guitar and went ELECTRIC with the mighty Lucien Muir settling in on drums. The duo performs live with bass, guitar, vocals and drums. Playing many live shows all over California for the past several years the band, a couple of years back, recorded and unleashed their audience - tested music to the world via the release of their first self - titled album A TALENT FOR MISCHIEF, with 15 original songs. Live, the band features 85% original music and 15% carefully selected covers drawing on influences as diverse as Big Band Swing, Sam Phillip’s Sun Studios and the classic American pop songbook PLUS their own unique ORIGINAL musical takes on swing, indie, power pop and rock and roll. DANCE music all - unique, hooky songs, short, sweet and to the point that stay with listeners long after the show is over. UNLEASH THE SOUNDS!
